One of the oldest of the Republic’s army, the command wolf was ,and still is, a very potent zoid in battle. This wolf type was used to lead the smaller, earlier, unstable zoids at the beginning of Helic’s reign, taking down the smaller Zenebas zoids with it’s dual barrel beam cannons. These cannons, contrary to popular belief, can pivot 90 degrees from side to side, while it can also point upwards and down by about 25 or so degrees, the arms can pivot about the same as the cannon’s base itself. The cannon has it’s own cockpit, and can be used as an escape pod for those inside of it. These beam cannons have a decent range of about 145 meters and can pack a bit of a punch, but are the command wolf’s only ranged weapon, but not his strongest. The command wolf’s most powerful weapon is it’s Electron Bite Fang, which if aimed at the right place, can take out even a Zaber Fang ,this bite pumps electricity into the enemy zoid’s systems shutting them down depending where the bite is, odds are the bite is only on a limb and will thus rend that limb either dead or useless for a few minutes. The command wolf also has pretty strong armor and is very agile , and has average speed. It has dual twin smoke dischargers in the form of ‘mufflers’ on it’s hind quarters facing backwards, these shoot out a thick black plume of smoke to help for a quick escape or to attack another zoid using the smoke as cover. The command wolf, however, lacks armor on it’s lower sides, stomach, and lower legs. Overall this is a zoid that is good but lacks a variety of weaponry that would help it better in battle situations and if it loses it’s main cannons it has zero ranged weaponry.

One of the only flight capable imperial Blox , the Flyscissors is a more aerial based version of the Republic’s double sworder. This chimera type is mix between a pterosaur and kawagata , it takes the tail, eyes, wings, and legs from the pterosaur and the small size and durable armor as well as the X-Scissors from the kawakawa. The Flyscissors gets its name from the X-Scissors ,which are sharper than those of the double sworder’s, however they are also thinner and more lightly built as they are used for slicing through armor like a knife rather than crushing it and has been noted to have enough force to behead a Liger Zero. Underneath the head of the Flyscissors lies a pair of beam vulcans that are strong enough to damage the lighter armor of other level one zoids as well as the frame of higher level zoids, these are the zoid’s only ranged weapon and can overheat quickly if overused. The Flyscissors sharp X Claws are its only means to defend its wings when an enemy is close to them, and may also curve inward slightly to grip onto armor. The strike claws on it’s feet are like that on any other zoid in that they are sharp , hardened alloy and used to slash the armor of other zoids. The Flyscissor’s last line of defense is it’s long and thick Smash tail, this tail pretty much nothing but armor, this being said,it is highly durable and can be used to bash and smack other level one zoids around with enough power to knock a Genius Wolf over. The armor on this tiny flying devil is just as thick as the armor on the Saicurtis, however it only covers its wings,tail,and head , while the frame is a bit more sturdy then most Blox and the Core blox are shielded by it’s body parts quite well,given that there are only two of them. This chimera is also a nimble flyer and has no problems with manouvering through the air, much better than the other insect-types that is. The only real issues with this zoid is that it is light and easy to push around and its lack of more powerful ranged weaponry, plus, like all the other first few imperial Blox, this zoid is controlled via an AI system and lacks a cockpit.

A small lion type made by the Republic , the Saber Lion came out in the later half of the Helic - Guylos war . This small lion was made to combat in the tight, compact areas such as inside cities or towns. This particular feline zoid is extremely fast and agile for it’s small size due to it’s light, but durable armor. This zoid’s specialty was the quick strike tactic, it’s High Friction weapons made it’s melee weapons vibrate to easily do a good amount of damage to other small, or even medium sized zoids, and is only one of two zoids with this ability, the other being it’s rival the Gun tiger. This tiny feline lacks any ranged weaponry and relies on it’s Rear security sensor on it’s tail to detect zoids that are approaching from behind, it’s radar ear for picking up sounds and helping to locate them quickly, and it’s dual sensor eyes for seeing easily through smoke and watch things coming up from the sides. It’s only means of defense besides it’s strong array of close combat weaponry are it’s twin smoke dischargers that are little pipes on the very top of the armor on the upper portion of it’s legs, this creates a thick cloud of smoke for easier escapes or to ‘blind’ and opponent that lacks sophisticated Radar. The main issues are it’s relatively weak armor , small size, and absolutely no ranged weaponry, be wary when using it against larger, faster zoids with thick armor or guns, also while going at those high speeds, like most zoids, it can not turn as well, but this is still a very potent starter zoid.
